It is a cheese originating from the province of Cremona, in Lombardy. This cheese, with very ancient origins, is a typical product of the area and represents a true Italian dairy heritage.
Rind: Natural, straw yellow in color, sometimes slightly rusty.
Flavour: Delicate and slightly spicy, with notes of fresh milk and hints of hay.
Aroma: Fragrant, with notes of milk and cellar.
It is produced exclusively with pasteurized cow’s milk, using natural rennet and lactic ferments. The processing is rather simple and traditional.
Authentic taste: The flavour is genuine and characteristic, the result of artisanal processing and high-quality raw materials.
It lends itself to numerous combinations, both with other foods and with wine. It is excellent enjoyed alone, accompanied by honey or jam.
